As you leave Edinburgh, you'll travel through the historic Linlithgowshire where your guide will help you to spot Linlithgow Palace which was the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots before stopping at the Kelpies Monument. These two horses’ heads stand as a testament to the horsepower that drove the industrial development of Central Scotland and are quite the sight! From here, you'll head to the shores of Loch Lomond where you can enjoy a stroll along the 'bonny banks' and take in the fantastic views of the mountains. This picturesque area was once the home of Scotland's famous highland hero, Rob Roy MacGregor, so you'll be following in the footsteps of one of the country's greatest legends.

Then, it's time to travel into the Trossachs, or ‘the Highlands in Miniature’, where the Lowlands meet the Highlands and admire the stunning scenery before going onto Stirling where you can visit one of Scotland's most magnificent castles.
