14:00 A soul-cleansing stroll through Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka
Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka are the paths leading to the World Heritage site Kiyomizu-dera Temple. There are many antique shops selling Kiyomizu-yaki pottery, galleries, cafes, and sweet shops where you can taste Kyoto confections. There are plenty of shops selling incense and Yatsuhashi, which are perfect as Kyoto souvenirs, so it is recommended to stop by on your way back from sightseeing at Kiyomizu-dera. While eating while walking and admiring the atmospheric townhouses is fun, please be careful when walking as there are stone slopes that can be tricky. There is a legend that says if you fall here, you will die within two or three years; this saying is considered a warning from ancient times and is still passed down today.

Stroll along the banks of the Uji River to relax your mind and body.
12:00 Lunch Time
