Each booking includes a fully fuelled Vespa, helmet(s), and access to a custom-designed digital map with local tips, hidden must-sees, and cultural highlights. Whether you're stopping at iconic villas, riding through the villages, or chasing sunset views over the lake, the experience is yours to shape.
The included itinerary offers curated routes tailored to the duration of your ride — but you're free to follow your own path. The goal is to provide you with the best local recommendations while letting spontaneity lead the way. It also provides a list of restaurant recommendations, photo spots, villas to visit, beaches to visit, and more!
• How many can ride?
Our Vespa fits up to 2 people.
• Do I need a motorbike licence?
The Vespa has a 125cc engine - a car license is sufficient if you have an Italian drivers licence (1-year driving license B), otherwise a motorcycle driving license is required allowing you to drive a 125cc moped in your home country. We recommend all drivers to carry an international drivers license/permit. Our customers are required to check themselves whether they are allowed to drive the vehicles they book.
• Is it automatic or does it have gears?
The Vespa is automatic, so super easy to ride, but we do require drivers to have experience driving a 125cc vespa/scooter/motorbike.
• Can I drive everywhere?
You can drive anywhere in Lake Como except for permanent and temporary ZTL (Limited traffic zones). This means that you cannot drive into the larger metropolitan Milan area or center. Nor can you drive through the center of small villages like Varenna when the ZTL is active.
• Does it come with fuel?
You will receive the Vespa with a full tank of unleaded 95 petrol/gasoline. Please top up the vespa when you are done.
• Are helmets included?
Included are 2x retro-looking Nox N243 helmets in color ‘British Green’ or ‘Cream’, available in sizes S, M, L, and XL.
• Where do I park?
street parking for all motorbikes and scooters including our Vespa is free in Lake Como within the designated white lines. If you are keeping the vespa overnight, it is preferably kept in a covered parking spot or garage at your hotel/apartment.
• Can you deliver to me?
