I dream living a couple of hours in the city of pompeii or herculaneum just befote the eruption in order to realize what the archeology hasn't answerd yet. Let me share it with you. Although most of this anciant city has been written, there is a lot to discover and yet everyday something is around the corner ready to be shown. Well, that's what I feel when I am in Pompeii or Herculaneum. It is always exiting even for me and that's what I am willing to share with you.
Herculaneum in much smaller than Pompeii and a 2 hours tour is more than enough. If you are a lover of archeology, I would reccomend to visit Pompeii from 2,5 to 3 hours.
