The day starts with pick up from your accommodation in Naples where you will travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned car to meet your English-speaking guide in Pompeii. Enter hassle-free with skip-the-line tickets and embark on an in-depth tour of the archaeological area, walking on the original Roman roads and entering the ancient houses to see how the Romans lived. Visit the thermal baths and the amphitheater and travel back in time to the evening before the eruption of the volcano.

Next, head to Mount Vesuvius where you'll have the option to join the resident volcanologist's tour and retrace thousands of years of activity of one of the most spectacular and dangerous volcanoes in Europe.
