1. Sinaia- The Pearl of the Carpathian Mountains and Peles Castle
We begin the day in Sinaia, one of the most beautiful mountain resorts in Romania, known as the “ Pearl of the Carpathians”. Here, you’ll visit Peles Castle, a Renaissance-style masterpiece that was once the royal residence of Romania’s royal family. The castle is known for beautiful interiors and the stunning landscape surrounding it, making it one of Romania’s most visited landmarks.
You left Bucharest at 06:45 am and you will arrive to Sinaia/Peles around 09:00 am, but please take into consideration that the hour can change depending on the traffic. We suggest to choose slot time for Peles: 09:15- 11:00 when you purchase the entry ticket.
2. Bran – The Legendary Dracula’s Castle
Next, we head to Bran, where you will visit Bran Castle, famous for the legends surrounding it and its association with the mythical figure of Dracula. Explore the medieval castle perched atop a cliff, offering fascinating insights into history and the legends that have turned it into a symbol of Romania.
3. Brasov
After Bran, we will travel to Brasov, a city full of history and charm. You’ll have the chance to stroll through the cobbled streets of the Old Town, admire the Black Church, the city’s symbol, and immerse yourself in the medieval atmosphere of Brasov. This is the perfect place to understand Romania’s traditions and culture.
4. Panoramic View of the Carpathian Mountains
From Brasov, we’ll stop for a panoramic view of the Carpathian Mountains, offering a breathtaking sight of the region. This is the perfect opportunity to take photos and enjoy the stunning mountain landscapes, making this area a dream destination for nature lovers.
5. Romanian Culture and Cuisine
Finally, you will get the chance to indulge in traditional Romanian cuisine. We will stop a local restaurant where you can savor authentic dishes such as sarmale, polenta with cheese, or papanasi, accompanied by local wine. This is the perfect way to end your immersive experience into Romanian culture and traditions.
