Product Info

Each day reveals a different layer of Poland’s past — thoughtfully organized so you can focus on the experience rather than logistics.
On the first day, step into the history behind Schindler’s List during a guided walking tour through Podgórze and Kazimierz. Begin outside Oskar Schindler’s former enamel factory and learn about his efforts to protect Jewish workers during the Nazi occupation. Continue through the former Krakow Ghetto, discovering authentic streets and locations connected with both the historical events and Spielberg’s film.

The route then leads to Kazimierz, once the center of Jewish life in Krakow. Walk through its historic streets and courtyards while learning about the vibrant prewar community and the dramatic changes brought by the war.

The day continues at the Płaszów Memorial Site, the former concentration camp located in Krakow. Explore the grounds with your guide and learn about the prisoners, victims, and survivors connected with the site. The visit offers an opportunity to reflect on the history of Płaszów and its connection to the events portrayed in Schindler’s List
On the second day, travel from Krakow to Oświęcim for a guided visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. Accompanied by an official museum guide, explore Auschwitz I and see preserved barracks, historical exhibitions, and original evidence documenting the lives and suffering of prisoners.

After a short break, continue to Auschwitz II-Birkenau, where you will see the former railway platform, barracks, memorial areas, and the remains of the gas chambers and crematoria. Throughout the visit, your museum guide provides historical context and respectful commentary, helping you understand the scale and human impact of the Holocaust.

After the visit, return to Krakow by comfortable group transfer.
On the final day, leave Krakow for the Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of Poland’s most remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Descend deep underground with a licensed in-house guide and discover impressive chambers, underground lakes, salt-carved sculptures, historic mining areas, and the spectacular Chapel of St. Kinga.

After returning to Krakow, take a relaxing break at a local bistro and enjoy a traditional Polish lunch. It’s the perfect opportunity to sample classic local flavors and unwind after your underground adventure.

End your 3-day journey with an atmospheric Klezmer music concert. Rooted in the musical traditions of Central and Eastern European Jewish communities, Klezmer is an important part of Krakow’s cultural heritage. Enjoy a live performance in an intimate setting and experience the distinctive melodies and rhythms that continue to connect the city with its Jewish cultural past.

From wartime history and Jewish heritage to underground wonders, traditional cuisine, and live music, this 3-day experience offers a meaningful and varied introduction to Krakow and the stories that have shaped the city.
