To start the tour, meet your professional private guide at a previously arranged place (your hotel, apartment, or any other spot in the city). Since it is a tailor-made tour, the route may vary according to the meeting point, but nevertheless the tour in all cases includes Heroes' Square, the City Park, Andrássy Boulevard, the State Opera House, St. Stephen's Basilica, and the Castle Hill with the marvellous Fishermen's Bastion and Matthias Church on top.

This walking tour will show you the top sights of Budapest on both sides of the river, offering an overall view of the city and the Hungarian's over 1000 year history. Being a local citizen I am sure I can give you a real insight not just to the history but to the culture and social life of the "Budapesters" as I like to call ourselves. Let me also show you how people live here and what standard of life they have in and outside the capital city.

The tour lasts around 3.5-4 hours, and includes a coffee or a soft drink in one of the city's most beautiful historical cafés. It also includes a ride on the famous UNESCO protected Millenium Underground.
