Discover historic Paris on a German-language small-group walking tour through the city center and Le Marais – with fascinating history, hidden places, and personal insights away from the typical tourist trails.

The meeting point is the legendary Shakespeare and Company bookstore, right in the heart of Paris. From here, we begin our walk through the oldest parts of the city and discover some of the places that have shaped Paris over the centuries.

Along the way, we will also pass by the impressive Notre-Dame de Paris, one of the most significant examples of French Gothic architecture and one of the city’s most important landmarks. Please note that entry to the cathedral is not included in the tour.

This experience combines history, culture, and personal insights into Paris. As a German who has lived in Paris for many years, I created this route to share the city from my own perspective – authentic, personal, and with a love for the Paris that exists beyond the classic tourist sights.
