Product Info

Nostalgic Tours begins its amazing walking tour at the heart of the city, right in front of the Belfry Tower on the Grand Market Square.

The charismatic local guide starts with an introduction to how Bruges became the rich and powerful trading center of Europe.

Next, they’ll share the story of the Rise and Fall of Bruges.

Afterward, we’ll enter the Belfry Tower, a symbol of wealth and power, and continue our tour to the Burg Square, the oldest square in Bruges, where the city actually began.

At the Burg Square, we’ll even visit the Holy Blood Chapel and the Saint-Basilica Chapel. You might even catch a glimpse of the Holy Blood of Jesus Christ. Other tour operators don’t enter these chapels, which makes our tour unique.

After leaving Burg Square, we’ll head to what was once the smelliest part of Bruges—the Fish Market—and then continue to an even smellier part of the city, Tanner’s Square. At least it smells nice there now!

We’ll continue our walk to the Rosary Quay and stroll along the water, stopping by the hotel where Colin Farrell stayed during the filming of In Bruges.

Next, we’ll head to the Bridge of 'Love'—which, ironically, isn’t romantic at all!

Can you find the smallest Gothic window in Bruges? It’s at the Palace of Gruuthuse, which you’ll also see on this amazing tour.

Then, we’ll visit the Paradise Portal at the Church of Our Lady and even enter the church, where your guide will show you a sneak peek of Michelangelo’s Marble Madonna and Child sculpture. To make the tour even more special, your guide will share a personal story from the spire of this church.

After visiting the Church of Our Lady, we’ll head to one of the oldest hospitals in Bruges, the Saint John’s Hospital site.

Next, we’ll take you to what we call the Door of Narnia—a hidden gem in Bruges that you can only discover with a guide.

Who loves chocolate? We’ll even take you into one of the eleven artisanal chocolate shops in Bruges, where you’ll receive a free Belgian truffle!

We’ll also stop by the smallest street in Bruges that isn’t a dead-end—full of history, of course.

To end the tour, we’ll wrap up after two hours next to the Halve Maan Brewery, where the beer literally flows under the streets!

And if that’s not enough, after your walking tour you can also enjoy a boat tour, included in your ticket.
