Product Info

  • Enjoy the works of past Isokichi potters with detailed commentary! Isokichi Fukako Pottery is located in Yahata, where many kilns for producing ornaments are concentrated. The first generation pottery maker specialized in the base of pottery, and even today they still carry out the entire process from base production to painting. This program is a workshop tour where the fourth-generation Asakura Ichika, daughter of the third-generation Asakura Isokichi, will personally explain the workshop, gallery, and works. At the end of the tour, you will be able to actually use the works in the kiln and taste coffee. *For foreign visitors: The tour will be conducted in Japanese only.
