Participant age: 8 to 70 years old
Clothing and belongings: ● Essential items - Swimsuit or underwear We recommend a type that fits snugly against the skin. Wear it inside your wetsuit. - Food and drink It takes about 30 minutes to climb to the cave, and lunch will be served just before entering. - A 500cc water bottle is fine. - Shorts: Wear on the outside of your wetsuit. Any shorts are fine, but sturdy shorts that don't slip off easily are best. (If you don't have shorts, you can rent them on site for 500 yen.) - Swimming goggles For diving. Clear lenses are recommended! - Gloves For hand protection and warmth. Neoprene, such as that used for diving and fishing, is warm. They cost 1,000-1,500 yen at Workman. - Backpacks that you don't mind getting wet One for each person is fine. - Towels to dry off your body. Leave these in the car. ●Things you should bring: - Innerwear (top and bottoms) - quick-drying dry shirt and leggings or tights - These will allow you to change smoothly when wearing a suit and also keep you warm. - Socks - To prevent blisters and keep you warm. Tabi socks or five-finger socks. - Sandals - For changing out of a wet suit.
Rental equipment: Full wetsuits, helmets with lights, and shoes are included in the participation fee. Shorts can be rented on site for 500 yen (no reservations required). Waterproof backpacks can be rented in advance for 500 yen.
Duration: 50 minutes from the meeting point, 29km drive by yourself. 30 minutes for changing clothes and preparation, 30 minutes for climbing to the cave. Time inside the cave is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.
