What You Can Expect

- 13:00Introduction & Material Selection. We will introduce Hitomezashi sashiko and the Ajisai (Hydrangea) pattern. Choose your favorite fabric and sashiko thread colors for your pincushion.
- 13:05Prepare the Pattern. Learn how to transfer the grid for the Hitomezashi pattern onto the fabric. We will guide you through the process step by step.
- 13:15Enjoy Sashiko Stitching. Stitch the Ajisai pattern using Hitomezashi. Enjoy watching the geometric design gradually appear as you work.
- 14:00Finish Your Pincushion. Assemble the stitched fabric and finish it as a pincushion. Take your completed handmade piece home with you.
- 14:10Sashiko Shopping. Sashiko supplies and other related items are available for purchase in the shop. Feel free to take a look and enjoy a little shopping after the workshop.

- ・A restroom is available, but if possible, we recommend using one before arriving at canoha. ・If you bring your own drinks, please take any bottles, cups, or other waste with you when you leave. ・There is no bicycle parking available. Please refrain from coming by bicycle. ・There is no private parking. If you come by car, please use a nearby coin-operated parking lot. ・The entrance to the building can be a little difficult to find. After your booking is confirmed, we will send you a map showing the walking route from Ogikubo Station to canoha. Please check it before your visit.
Includes/Excludes
- All materials needed to complete one practice coaster during the workshop, as well as a take-home guide covering the techniques introduced in the workshop.
- None. Sashiko needles, tools, and any leftover sashiko thread are provided for use during the workshop but are not included as take-home items.

Age requirement: 15 to 80 years old
Clothing and personal items: All materials and tools will be provided, so there is nothing special you need to bring. As this workshop involves detailed handwork, please bring your glasses if you need them for close-up work.
Rental items: All tools needed for the workshop will be provided free of charge. Materials for making your practice coaster are also included in the workshop fee.
Duration: The workshop takes approximately 60–70 minutes. The exact duration may vary slightly depending on the number of participants and your individual pace.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 3 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–2 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy.
