Kayoikomachi Fukuoka offers an authentic and luxurious kimono rental and photoshoot experience for visitors looking to immerse themselves in Japanese culture.
The flow from reservation to the day of the event :


Step 1: Choose Your Plan and Preferred Date
Select your preferred photoshoot plan—either Studio Photoshoot or Location Photoshoot—and book your desired date through our reservation system.


Step 2: Availability Confirmation
Once we receive your booking request, we will check availability for your chosen date. If the date is available, we will send you a Reservation Questionnaire Form via email.


Step 3: Complete the Reservation Questionnaire
Fill out the questionnaire to finalize the details of your experience, including:
Your preferred kimono style, Kimono color and size, Hairstyle preferences, Photoshoot location (if choosing the Location Photoshoot plan)


Step 4: Hairstyling and Makeup Preparation
On the day of your photoshoot, our professional stylists will provide hair and makeup services to match your desired look. If you have a specific hairstyle in mind, please bring reference images to share with our team.


Step 5: Photoshoot Day
Enjoy a memorable photoshoot at your chosen location!
Whether you select a studio setting or a scenic outdoor site (such as a shrine or Japanese garden), our experienced photographers and staff will ensure you feel comfortable and confident throughout the session.


The standard session includes approximately 100 photos taken over 1.5 hours. You will receive 15–20 edited photos for the Studio Plan and 30–35 edited photos for the Location Plan.
This step-by-step guide ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish, allowing you to focus on creating unforgettable memories!

This package is exclusively for female participants. Male and children participants are not eligible for kimono rental service.


Decide whether you prefer a Studio Photoshoot or a Location Photoshoot.
Studio Photoshoot: Conducted indoors at the dressing location.
Location Photoshoot: Includes outdoor photography at iconic spots such as Japanese gardens, shrines, or historic venues.


Reservations are available starting 6 months to 2 weeks prior to your desired date.


Photoshoots are conducted twice daily:
Morning Session: Starting at 10:00 AM
Afternoon Session: Starting at 2:00 PM


After your booking request is confirmed, you will receive a questionnaire form to finalize your preferences. Be prepared to provide the following details:
-Kimono style preference (cute or cool)
-Desired kimono color and size
-Hairstyle preferences (images can be provided for reference)
-Preferred photoshoot location (if choosing Location Photoshoot)


Additional Costs for Extra Participants
If additional female participants wish to join the photoshoot, please note that extra fees will apply for their kimono rental, hair styling, and makeup services

Reminders

  • In case of unfavorable weather (e.g., heavy rain), we may need to adjust the outdoor photoshoot schedule or location. We will communicate any changes with you in advance.

  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.

Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy.
