In the morning, the tour guide picks up all the tourists and starts a day of ecological tour. First, we will go west along the Derwent River in Hobart to Mount Field National Park, the oldest national park in Tasmania. You will enjoy the beautiful cherries of Tasmania along the way. Plantations and hop fields, set against endless pastures and dotted old wooden houses, provide a panoramic view of the rural scenery like a fairy tale world.
Upon arrival in the national park, we will enjoy the primitive temperate rainforest composed of tall eucalyptus trees and ancient ferns. During the walk through the rainforest, we can encounter wild sandstone kangaroos, echidnas or "living fossils" platypus. You can reach the famous platypus after a 20-minute walk The Russel Fall and Horseshoe Fall, you can experience the complexity and diversity of the rainforest ecosystem up close. Walking along the forest trail, you can see the tallest tree in Tasmania-the ancient Tall Tree nearly 100 meters tall. The giant tree that survived thousands of years of wind, frost, rain and snow requires 20 adults to hug it together. In front of it, we can truly experience the magnificence and greatness of nature.
After lunch, we will go to the famous MONA Museum of Old and New Art in Tasmania (at own expense, 30 Australian dollars per adult). There are hundreds of exhibits about modern and contemporary art on display in the museum. We can see the food digestion machine imitating the human digestive system, using water droplets to form various instantaneous words through calculations, as well as the treasured real Egyptian mummies. All kinds of novel exhibits will continue to inspire your brain, make your thinking become active, and let Imagination is released.
Finally, we will visit Australia’s second oldest Royal Botanical Garden (Royal Botanical Garden), which has a history of 200 years. It was originally used as the back garden of the Governor’s Palace in Tasmania. It has many buildings and preserves in the early 19th century. The garden has collected and planted many precious tree species and flowers in Tasmania, including leatherwood trees and Huen pine unique to Tasmania, which can be called a textbook that records the ecology of Tasmania. Many seasonal flowers are cultivated in the garden at the same time, each season has a different color, strolling through them, it is as if you are in a sea of flowers.
After the trip, we will return the tourists to the hotel or airport in order.
