Departure times may be delayed due to traffic disruptions or other unforeseen circumstances.
Weather and temperature can change easily in mountainous areas at night, and temperatures can drop by about 4-5 degrees Celsius compared to urban areas, so we recommend wearing warm clothing that you don't mind getting wet.
We will walk approximately 2 kilometers in the nature reserve and approximately 1 kilometer in the national park. Please refrain from wearing high heels or flip-flops.
The viewing area for the glow-worms is a dark, unlit area. Please be aware of this if you have a fear of darkness.
Wheelchairs and strollers are not permitted on this tour. Please refrain from bringing them on board as there is no storage space on the bus.
The walking trails in the national park include stairs. Since you will be walking on dark trails without streetlights, participation with a walking stick is only permitted if accompanied by an assistant.
Eating and drinking are prohibited on the bus by law. Only bottled water is permitted. (Juice, coffee, etc. are prohibited.)
Photography and videography are strictly prohibited within the national park where the glowworms live.
The tour itinerary may change due to weather, road conditions, or restaurant availability.
In case of rain, the wildlife exploration may be replaced with a visit to the Harbor Town Shopping Centre (outlet mall). The glowworm viewing will still take place even in rainy weather.
If the national park is closed due to severe weather, the tour will be cancelled.
Even if kangaroos or koalas are not found during the wildlife exploration, there will be no refund or reduction of the tour price.
After dinner, you may be sharing a bus with other tour groups.
Please note that the tour conditions (such as dates and times) may be subject to sudden changes due to circumstances beyond our control. In the event of a cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control, we will provide a full refund, but we will not be liable for any further damages.
The same cancellation policy applies in cases of flight delays or cancellations.
During the glowworm viewing experience at Natural Bridge National Park, you will enter a rainforest where thousands of tiny glowworms illuminate the cave and surrounding areas. This creates a magical, starry sky-like effect in the dark. The guide will lead you to the best viewing spots and explain the glowworms' life cycle and habitat, offering a unique natural spectacle.
The eco-safari in the 'Wildlife Forest' provides an opportunity to observe various Australian native animals in their natural habitat. You can expect to search for and potentially spot kangaroos grazing in open fields and koalas nestled in eucalyptus trees. The tour focuses on observing these wild animals as they roam freely, which is a rare experience even in Australia.
Yes, a Japanese-speaking guide accompanies the Gold Coast glowworm and eco-safari tour throughout the entire duration. This ensures that participants can fully understand the explanations about the wildlife, glowworms, and the natural environment. The guide will provide comprehensive commentary in Japanese, making the experience accessible and informative for Japanese-speaking guests from pick-up to drop-off.
Dinner for the tour is provided at a local restaurant called Tavern. You can choose from popular Australian dishes such as chicken parmigiana (a chicken schnitzel topped with tomato sauce and cheese) or classic fish and chips. If you have specific dietary needs, it is recommended to inform the tour operator in advance so they can advise on potential accommodations or alternative arrangements.
The tour includes convenient pick-up and drop-off services from designated hotels located within the main Gold Coast city area. This allows participants to relax and enjoy the evening tour without worrying about nighttime transportation. Specific hotel coverage can be confirmed when making your reservation, ensuring a seamless start and end to your adventure.
The Gold Coast glowworm viewing and eco-safari tour is generally suitable for families, but parents should consider the evening departure and the nature of walking in a rainforest at night. While it offers a unique educational experience, young children might find the late hours challenging. It's recommended for families who are comfortable with evening activities and a moderate amount of walking.
Beyond the mesmerizing glowworms and unique wildlife, this tour offers an opportunity for stargazing (weather permitting). Away from city lights, the clear night sky allows for views of constellations not easily seen elsewhere, including the Southern Cross. The guide will point out significant celestial features, adding another layer of natural wonder to your evening experience.
