－Important Travel Information for Saipan－

Although Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands is a U.S. territory, travelers holding a HKSAR passport or BNO passport are eligible for a 45-day visa-free entry. However, please note the following before arrival:

1. For travelers holding a Chinese passport or HKSAR passport without a U.S. visa: Starting October 1, 2024, eligible G-CNMI VWP travelers and Chinese citizens can begin using the system. During the 60-day transition period, paper I-736 forms will still be accepted; please print and sign the form and present it to customs officials upon arrival. Starting November 30, 2024, eligible G-CNMI VWP travelers and Chinese citizens arriving after 12AM (estimated arrival time) must hold an approved G-CNMI ETA. Airlines will deny boarding to passengers without an approved G-CNMI ETA, and CBP will stop accepting paper I-736 forms. 2. Holders of HKSAR passports and British National (Overseas) (HKBNO) passports must present their Hong Kong Identity Card upon entry to Saipan, so please ensure you carry all the aforementioned documents.
   
3. Travelers holding a Chinese passport with a valid U.S. visa (maximum 10-year validity) B1/B2, B1, or B2 do not need to fill out the I-736 form or ETA; they only need to complete the EVUS electronic visa update before departure.

4. Passport must be valid for at least 190 days beyond the end of the trip (at least 3 blank pages required).
   
5. Please carry printed copies of your e-ticket itinerary and hotel confirmation voucher (in English).
   
6. If you have renewed your passport and your valid U.S. visa is in your old passport, you must carry both the new and old passports when entering Saipan.
   
7. Travelers who have been previously denied a U.S. visa are not eligible for the visa-free policy and must obtain a U.S. visa before entry.
   
8. For minors (under 18 years old):
   - Traveling with both parents: Please carry the original birth certificate.
   - Traveling with only one parent (guardian): A notarized written statement from the non-traveling parent is required. If the minor has only one legal guardian, court documents, a birth certificate indicating only one parent, or a death certificate must be presented.
   - If the minor has only one legal guardian, court documents, a birth certificate indicating only one parent, or a death certificate must be presented.
9. Pregnant women are not eligible for the visa-free entry policy in Saipan. Any consequences resulting from concealment of pregnancy leading to denied entry are the sole responsibility of the traveler.
   
10. Special Circumstances: Travelers who have visited Iran, Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Sudan, Libya, Yemen, or North Korea must hold a U.S. visa to enter Saipan.
    
11. If you plan to drive in Saipan, please remember to bring your International Driving Permit.
    
12. You must declare if you are carrying more than 10,000 USD.
    

* The Northern Mariana Islands grants visa-free entry to travelers from China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan; this is not a guarantee of entry by the travel agency. If U.S. immigration officials determine that you do not meet the entry requirements, all costs incurred, including return flight tickets and detention fees at the immigration office, shall be borne by the traveler.

• All passports must have at least 190 days of validity remaining. Please ensure your passport has sufficient validity. Please visit the IATA Travel Centre website to check passport validity requirements for specific destinations.
• As each airline has different regulations for special passengers (including but not limited to pregnant travelers, persons with disabilities, and elderly travelers), please check the airline's official website for special passenger travel guidelines and arrive at the airport early on the day of departure to complete immigration procedures.
• For details on entry/exit and transit restrictions, please check the local government tourism website. If you are transiting, you may need to follow the regulations of the transit airport and/or airline regarding immigration procedures, baggage collection, and re-boarding. Please confirm in advance that you have the necessary travel documents or visas.
• If you need to carry medication, please keep it in its original packaging with the instruction leaflet (preferably in English) and provide a prescription from your doctor to prove that the medication was prescribed for you, so as to avoid delays during security checks or customs clearance.
• After placing your order, please send copies/photos of all travelers' passports to us via the KKday chat room. All travelers are required to present their passports for accommodation and flight bookings. Missing passport information may delay the order confirmation process.
• Please ensure your booking information is correct and comply with all rules stated in the booking instructions. Bookings that violate the policies/instructions specified in the product will be considered invalid.
• To protect your rights and avoid potential risks during overseas travel, we remind and recommend that you purchase travel insurance and travel inconvenience insurance.
• If transportation services are suspended, itineraries are changed, or the supplier is unable to deliver the booked product due to force majeure, resulting in the need to change travel dates or cancel the trip, travelers must negotiate directly with the relevant supplier. KKday will make every effort to assist travelers but will not be liable for any costs or additional expenses incurred. (Including but not limited to additional hotel accommodation, transportation, and long-distance phone charges, which shall be borne by the traveler.)
• 'Force majeure' includes but is not limited to: war, political instability, terrorist attacks, natural disasters, epidemics, severe weather conditions, technical issues with transportation, sudden changes or cancellations of services by the carrier, strikes, industrial action, or travel warnings issued by the destination government or the World Health Organization.
• Departure/arrival times during the journey may be adjusted/changed/cancelled according to sailing conditions, and the final arrangements by the airline shall prevail. Travelers agree and accept that the airline has the final decision and that this will not be considered a violation of the Trade Descriptions Ordinance, and hereby waive any right to pursue or claim against KKday.
• If you have any food allergies or special dietary requirements, please be sure to note them in the order remarks.
• If your passport has expired at the time of check-in, please enter the passport number from your old passport first, and provide the new passport information before the ticket is issued or at least 7 days before departure to avoid being denied boarding or entry.
• Please note that airlines may change flight schedules. Please refer to the airline's official announcements for the correct flight times.
• If a traveler is denied entry or denied boarding due to their own issues, the travel expenses will not be refunded. Any additional costs incurred, such as transportation arrangements or accommodation, must be borne by the individual and are not the responsibility of KKday.
