Located in Dosan-myeon, Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Dosanseowon was where the scholar Yi Hwang studied and taught. It is a place that produced many talents, and it is so significant that the portrait of Yi Hwang and the scenery of Dosanseowon are featured on the South Korean 1,000 KRW banknote.

・Andong Hahoe Village
Andong Hahoe Village is one of Korea's famous folk villages, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2010. It is said to be a prime location surrounded by mountains and water. Although some parts were lost due to wars, it preserves traditional Joseon Dynasty architecture and the valuable cultural heritage of the mask dance. It is world-renowned, having been visited by Queen Elizabeth II of the UK and President George W. Bush of the US.
