- Children 3 years old and younger may join the tour without participating in the hot air balloon flight. One parent must take care of the child on the ground while the other parent takes the hot air balloon flight
- Travellers ages 4–17 must be accompanied by an adult during the entire tour (in and out of the hot air balloon)
- Pregnant persons beyond 3 months (13 weeks) of pregnancy are not permitted to fly
