Product Info

  • Kibune
The inner parlor of Kyoto. The Kibune River flowing nearby is a popular tourist destination visited by many throughout the seasons, featuring fresh green maples in early summer, Kawadoko (riverbed dining) in the summer, and autumn leaves.
  • Kibune Shrine
The head shrine of over 2,000 water shrines across Japan, dedicated to the god of water, the source of all life. Its founding date is extremely old and unknown, but records of shrine building renovations exist from about 1,300 years ago, making it one of the oldest shrines in Japan.
  • Kibune Kawadoko Cuisine
Enjoy your meal in a tatami room with a great view of the river. Enjoy seasonal dishes that show different expressions in each of the four seasons. Please savor dishes carefully prepared with local river fish and wild vegetables from Kibune. We believe that the traditional flavors passed down through generations are a charm of Kyoto cuisine that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Please enjoy the luxurious hospitality of Kyoto, where you can taste the seasonal flavors, feast your eyes, and be intoxicated by nature.
