Escape the modernity of Tokyo with a day trip to traditional Japan! Enjoy the breathtaking atmosphere of Kawagoe!
After meeting your guide in Shunjuku, you will ride the train together to Kawagoe and head directly to one of the city's wonders: Kita-in Temple.
Its halls will take you back in time in this temple rich with history!
Then you will move on to Taisho Roman Street, where you will dive into the 1910s and '20s Japan, with many buildings older than 100 years!
From there you will reach Kawagoe's pride, the beautifully preserved Ichiban-gai, a long street of warehouses that will make you travel back to the Edo Period!
Enjoy the magnificent view on the Toki no Kane tower bell, symbol of the city!
Enjoy a typical Kawagoe style snack on the way before the tour ends at Kashiya Yokocho, the alley where all the confectionery shops are located!
You can decide to make your trip even more traditional with by renting a kimono at the end of the tour!

  • No refunds will be issued in case the customer doesn't show up at the meeting spot on time or in case the tour is cancelled due to extreme situations such as typhoons and other natural disasters.

  • If you choose the Kimono Rental option, please return the Kimono to the rental shop within the shop's working hours. You will receive details directly at the shop.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 11 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 8 to 10 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 20% will apply
  • For cancellations made 2 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
  • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 40% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
