The PCC tour started right from the pick-up. The polite, experienced Japanese-American gentleman was a master of his craft, every word a classic, keeping everyone laughing! He could handle anyone, regardless of nationality, without any rigid recitation. He drove around, talking about everything under the sun, from east to west, discussing whatever he saw – there wasn't a moment to pause. It was practically a city tour, making it well worth the ticket price! Every member of the PCC team was highly trained, and their words and actions revealed their passion for the PCC. Humor and enthusiasm are typical of Hawaiians, but the natural hospitality and proactive assistance of each member were truly admirable. I wondered if it would be the same if we had an indigenous village in Taitung? The answer was revealed during a break when we accidentally boarded a "temple" leading outside the park! Located next to Brigham Young University, a quick glance at the map reveals they are essentially one area. The temple is their religious center. The evening performance was decent, and the Gateway Buffet was acceptable for a budget-conscious Hawaii trip – convenient for those seeking convenience. However, I wouldn't recommend it for those looking for something more refined.
