Why is Mile High Stadium called Empower Field?
Mile High Stadium is called Empower Field at Mile High due to a 21-year naming rights deal between the Denver Broncos and Empower Retirement, which commenced in September 2019. The agreement allows Empower to have its name on the stadium, while retaining "Mile High" to honor Denver's altitude and history. This partnership provides significant revenue for stadium upkeep and modernization.
