The driver who picked us up from the hotel arrived 5 minutes early, which was reassuring. The guides were all kind and took lots of pictures for us. At the end of the tour, they sell framed photos for 200 baht and digital photos for 800 baht, so it might be a good idea to bring a little extra cash. The water was beautiful at all three snorkeling spots, which was amazing. There were lots of corals and colorful fish. Unfortunately, we only saw a few Nemo and no turtles. There were 2 or 3 speedboats full of people gathered at each snorkeling spot. It was a bit crowded while snorkeling, so you have to look around and observe the fish carefully to avoid bumping into anyone. Lunch was delicious, with two kinds of spaghetti sauce, chicken, and fruit. The Moken island had lots of small children, cats, and chickens. There were lots of cute souvenirs for sale. They don't push sales, so you can look around at your leisure. Dinner was prepared for us when we returned to the port. The chicken and noodles were delicious. If you're going to Surin Island, I think staying in Khao Lak is more efficient and less physically demanding, considering the travel time to and from the island.
