I purchased a round-trip ticket from Bangkok city to Koh Kood. I joined the first group, meeting at the boat company's office on Kao San Road around 4:30 AM for check-in. I showed my order form and passport for confirmation, received a banana cake and a bottle of water for breakfast, and then chose a lunchbox after arriving at the pier. The bus departed promptly at 5:00 AM from the office, and the journey took about five hours to reach the pier. Upon arrival at the pier ticket office, I checked in, received my lunchbox, and waited for a shuttle bus to take me to the boat dock. The return trip was the same; after disembarking, I took a shuttle bus back to the pier ticket office to wait for the bus back to Bangkok city. Advantages: 1. This ticket is free to cancel in case of itinerary changes. 2. KKDay customer service is fast and efficient in handling issues. 3. Shuttle buses are provided from the hotels on Koh Kood to the pier upon arrival and departure. Disadvantage 1: If you choose to travel from the city center, please fill in the ferry company's office name, BOONSIRI FERRY (Bangkok), as your pick-up location. I didn't know this initially, so I filled in "Starbucks on Khao San Road." When I checked in at the ferry company, the counter staff said I couldn't check in there because I filled in "Starbucks on Khao San Road," and told me to go to Starbucks to wait! Please insist on checking in at the office; don't listen to the counter staff and leave—it's ridiculous! 2: I don't know why KKDay showed my Google Maps name as the booking person in the ferry company's system, which didn't match my passport name. As a result, I was given a hard time and had to explain before they let me through. 3: Please locate the office address as BOONSIRI FERRY (Bangkok) on Google Maps; the map displayed by KKDay is incorrect. Also, for the return trip from Koh Kood to Bangkok, and the arrival time, it's recommended to contact KKDay customer service to confirm. KKDay customer service will ask the ferry company to contact you with the details.
