Chiang Rai

The weather was bad that day, it rained. Our first stop was Long Neck Village, which was very small and didn't seem like the place where the locals actually lived. After that, we visited the White Temple, Blue Temple, and Black House. The White Temple was beautiful, the Blue Temple was small, and the Black House was spacious and worth visiting. The Golden Triangle was just something our tour guide mentioned on the lake. We took a 9-seater bus, which was quite old and didn't have cup holders. The driver was fast but skilled. We had lunch at a restaurant next to the White Temple, a very basic all-you-can-eat meal. You can't expect much from a rural place like Chiang Rai. Overall, the White and Black Temples are must-sees; the Blue Temple, Long Neck Village, and Golden Triangle are quite ordinary and optional.

Fantastic! The tour guide and driver were both very friendly, and the whole trip was very enjoyable. The snacks during the trip were generously portioned, and the restrooms at the stops were clean! At first, the tour guide warned me that it would be over three hours of mountain road, and I was worried about motion sickness, but it was actually more like a slightly winding expressway, quite flat, and without any mountain road roughness, so I didn't get carsick at all!

We booked a private car with driver to Mon Jam and had a great experience. Our driver, Alice, was wonderful—she arrived right on time, was warm and accommodating, and drove with care throughout the trip. The ride felt safe and comfortable, and she made the whole journey smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended!

Ultimate comfort: The entire trip was incredibly convenient, with the pick-up from my accommodation, scheduled visits, and the airport all taken care of seamlessly. Impressive service: The driver arrived 10 minutes early to wait for me, which was a given! The driver even opened the car door for me, which was a special touch, and I felt very pampered. If you don't want to struggle with luggage until you get to the airport on your last day, renting an SUV and having a friendly driver is a must! It was a truly great choice, and I didn't regret the money!

The tour was friendly and polite, and offered good value for money, but the journey was extremely long, which I was prepared for.

Both the tour guide and the photographer are very friendly. We had a lot of fun. The photos are very nice. Recommend.
