The pick-up and drop-off point is near the main train station, easily accessible by walking or tram. The tour guide's explanations were good, and the vocabulary used in the English-language tour was not difficult to understand. Before seeing any somber exhibits, the guide would remind everyone to prepare themselves mentally and understand that photography and laughing were not allowed; the history was heavy, but it offered valuable lessons and warnings. Eating is prohibited inside the museum and throughout the exhibition area. You can pay the travel agency to prepare a light meal box (ours had a simple bread with meat, bottled water, an orange, and a sweet and savory biscuit, which was quite substantial), or you can prepare your own lunch.
Unlike typical European cave salt mines, this one is located over 300 meters underground and contains numerous narrative sculptures depicting history, culture, religion, and figures, making it well worth a visit.
