Aurora watching is highly dependent on weather and luck, and our guide demonstrated exceptional professionalism. He didn't just drop us off anywhere randomly; instead, he patiently led us to several different locations, carefully assessing cloud cover and weather conditions before precisely deciding on the best spot to wait. This flexible approach and dedication to seizing every opportunity made us, as travelers, feel very safe and secure. We ultimately witnessed the beautiful aurora borealis, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tromsø for the first time or looking to increase their chances of aurora chasing success!
