1/ Everyone was punctual throughout the trip, from the pre-departure meeting to the end of each activity. Excellent performance! 2/ Pick-up was at three locations: 6:30, 7:00, and 7:30. Each activity point was about a 1-1.5 hour drive, allowing ample time to catch up on sleep after the early morning meeting and the previous days' sightseeing. 3/ As we were staying in Seoul, it would have been difficult to complete the entire trip independently using public transportation. I highly recommend arranging a day for this tour during your trip. 4/ I felt the stop times at each tourist spot were appropriate. Gangmi Ice Valley isn't large; it only takes about 3-5 minutes to walk there. It looks spectacular in photos, but in reality, it's rather sparse. PS: After getting off the bus, the tour guide suggested buying basic crampons at the nearby shop, in case it's slippery. I recommended buying them, and indeed, 3-4 people slipped and fell. They'll also be useful on Nami Island! After feeding the alpacas, we strolled around the park. However, apart from feeding the alpacas and visiting the bunny area, the rest of the park felt rather empty. There was only one horse and a camel. None of the park's "activities and performances" were happening. Before heading to Nami Island, we had lunch here, which was an optional extra – a "Chuncheon Chicken Experience." It was likely that we would be seated in groups of four, perhaps with other members of our tour group whom we didn't know well. However, I noticed there were still empty seats, and the restaurant was still arranging for groups of four. Although the tour guide later helped us get to empty tables, I sensed the disappointment of those tourists. Nami Island requires a ferry ride, which takes about 5-10 minutes. The scenery is basically to the right and forward. It's the famous view featured on the cover. You can also buy "giant cotton candy" in the shop there to soften at the campfire area, but it's sold in a large bag. It might be too much for two people, so it's better to share with others. (One shop sells coffee, cotton candy, and microwaveable sweet potatoes; another sells fish cakes.) Because it's colder on Nami Island than on the main island, we wanted to wait for the return ferry even before it departed. 5/ Thank you, tour guide. Thank you, driver. We hope you all have a safe and smooth trip.
The package was fun and enjoyable for family with young kids. Key highlight was shared by Miao tour guide so that itinerary were fully optimised for a day trip covering 3 places. We will lucky when it start snowing in Nami Island making the trip even more memorable.
When we meet at 8am, there are staff waiting for the roll call, so that people can rest assured that they are not afraid of going to the wrong meeting point. The love coach has briefly explained in the car what equipment is included (such as ski suits, ski boots, skis) / to be at your own expense (such as gloves, ski socks, face mask) / to rent (such as helmets, hip and knee pads, etc.). About 1.5 hours drive to the snowsuit shop, spend about half an hour picking and wearing most of the equipment, the equipment is clean and varied, self-paid equipment about HKD$400/person. Another 10 minutes drive to the ski resort. The instructor also reminded of safety measures and handling in the event of an accident during this journey. Once you arrive at the ski resort, grab your ski boots and skis, put them on and start listening and practicing! Coach Love teaches with great care, including how to put on and take off snow boots, fall safely, glide, and brake. The instructor will check the correct movements of the trainees one by one. After ensuring safety, you can start playing on your own at about 1 o'clock! !Play until around 4pm and then gather. The ski resort has 3 primary routes, each route has a conveyor belt/cable car connection, the primary have different slopes, we challenged them off one by one, for the first time skiing, it was a great satisfaction! !The venue is not too crowded, a little wait can avoid some people and ski smoothly, not afraid of hitting others/being knocked down, so skiing is very comfortable! !Venue staff are helpful and will help you up and down the conveyor belt/cable car. There is a restaurant in the middle for dinner, with plenty of indoor seating, about HKD$80/person. Highly recommend this package! !
