This itinerary was full of highlights. Seeing peaches growing on trees, unlike those in supermarkets, was truly eye-opening. The scenery along the way was delightful. Our guide, Tracy, provided enthusiastic service, and our skilled driver was equally adept, reminding everyone to fasten their seatbelts – very thoughtful and responsible. We arrived safely in Yoichi to pick peaches, apples, and blueberries. The Nitori Orchard was vast, with every peach tree laden with fruit. The one-hour picking session was a blast; everyone devoured the peaches and had a wonderful time. At the Yoichi Distillery, you can learn about the entire whisky-making process. Optional tastings are also available. The stunning sea views from Mugishima and Cape Kamui are perfect for photos. However, Cape Kamui requires some physical exertion to see its breathtaking scenery. I highly recommend this itinerary. Don't hesitate, take advantage of this trip – it's a truly relaxing experience for both body and mind. Highly recommended!
The timing was perfect, and the tour guide provided information along the way and was very helpful in queuing to buy tickets. The only downside was that the seats on the bus were a bit small and not very comfortable.
The tour guide gave a very thorough introduction, and the attractions were nice, but the minibus ride took over an hour, and people taller than 175cm would find it very uncomfortable.
The time spent at Cape Kamui was too short; you have to walk the round-trip trails and then have a meal, which might be quite strenuous for older people or those with children.
Cape Kamui, after walking through a dark tunnel, experienced what it means to find a hidden gem – the bright and clear Shimabushi Coast was amazing! Cape Shakutan – one of Hokkaido's three must-see seascapes! I've been to Otaru three times, but I never knew it had a shopping street; I only ever strolled around the riverside art museum. This time, the tour guide arranged for us to dine on our own in Otaru's shopping street, which had a similar feel to Arashiyama's shopping street!
