It's so convenient not having to carry luggage around. The airport meeting point is right in front of the return check-in counter. After collecting your luggage, you can check it in directly. There's absolutely no need to move it around on the tram or Skyline.
I really loved how convenient it was to travel between the airport and the city center via the Narita Express. It is similar to buying subway tickets, so if you book in advance, getting your ticket is easy! We purchased a package that included a Tokyo subway ticket, and while the subway ticket was convenient and nice, there were a few downsides! [Points of Concern] 1. In Japan, there are various lineups besides the subway, such as JR and airport trains, and it is easy to get confused because the ticket gates look similar to subway gates. 2. We used online tickets to scan, but there were only one or two gates that scanned QR codes, so I recommend physical tickets over online ones. 3. Occasionally, you have to show your ticket to a station attendant and pass through manually. However, despite these drawbacks, I highly recommend it if you frequently use the subway. It is overwhelmingly cheaper, and it was convenient not having to calculate the fare at every station!🚊 I highly recommend the Narita Express!!🚅🚅
This Hakone day trip with KKday was truly a memorable and wonderful experience! From the early morning meeting to the evening return to Tokyo, the entire itinerary was smooth and fulfilling, with excellent connections between attractions, eliminating any worries about transportation and allowing for a truly enjoyable trip. Whether it was the historically rich and spiritually significant Hakone Shrine, the pirate ship offering stunning views of Lake Ashi, the expansive Hakone Ropeway, or the breathtaking Owakudani volcanic landscape, each attraction had its own unique charm. Especially on a clear day, the view of Mount Fuji was incredible – absolutely worth it! Finally, at Oshino Hakkai, the crystal-clear springs reflecting the majestic Mount Fuji created a picture-perfect scene that was unforgettable. I especially want to commend our guide, Kristine (Wang Huimin)! Throughout the day, she was incredibly professional, providing detailed explanations of the history and features of each attraction, and thoughtfully reminding everyone of meeting times, photo opportunities, and important points, making the entire trip both safe and enjoyable. Facing a busload of group members, she maintained a warm smile and patience throughout, demonstrating excellent leadership and smooth time management. You could truly feel her dedication and hard work as a tour leader. Especially during the journey, Kristine shared a wealth of local Japanese culture, travel tips, and practical information, ensuring the trip was never boring and instead enriching and engaging. She was also incredibly helpful when group members encountered problems, showcasing her professionalism and warmth. A huge thank you to Kristine for her tireless leadership throughout the day. This trip wasn't just sightseeing; it was a comfortable and unforgettable memory! I would definitely love to participate again in the future and would recommend it to my friends!
The JR Tokyo Wide Pass is great value for foreigners; it's convenient and affordable for trips to Kawaguchiko, Karuizawa, and Nikko.
