Starting this year, the hotel is open until 4 AM on Halloween, so not only can VIPs enjoy fast-track rides without queuing (Dongqigang estimates a queue time of 190 minutes, but we only spent less than four minutes on the ride), but after VIP time ends, you can continue to use the VIP wristband for unlimited speed passes. If you get tired, you can go back to the VIP lounge. One ticket lets you play as many rides as you want. We played 12 rides during our VIP time, including the water park. It was such a great deal!
As soon as I entered Universal Studios, I was shocked by the crowds. It was packed with people, and it was so lively no matter where I went! However, the rides were so high-quality, and every detail was exquisitely crafted. It was a completely five-star experience. Although it took time to queue up, the moment I played, it was all worth it.
Although the 4 fast pass items do not include Mario Land, they do include Minions, Spy X Family, and Harry Potter, which are also popular items. After queuing up early in the morning to play Mario Land, you can arrange the fast pass content in the afternoon very leisurely, which is very good.
While the theme park is small, it is rich in its contents. The museum is awesome and the zip line into Shin mouth is an amazing experience!
For those first time going there, from the drop off point to the entrance is around 20 to 30mins walk in a park (up slope). I just treated it as a slow walk and enjoying the scenery and other anime theme parks.
Around 2 hours would be sufficient to go through in great depths the contents.
I like the convenience and price of the package which includes the bus from Osaka Bus Terminal to send you to and fro Awaji Island. The tickets are exchanged near Pickup Point 1 of the Bus Terminal (I took some time to figure it out as KKday instruction may not be clear enough).
Strongly recommend a day trip for Godzilla fans.
