I recommend taking the tram to Stone Bridge Station, then walking to the Skyway with two elevators that take you directly to the second entrance of Gloucester Hill. It's easier to walk down from the top of the hill from there.
I highly recommend visiting this place; it's a convenient stop after visiting Suwa Shrine. The exhibitions are incredibly diverse and the staff at the counters are very friendly. The entire area is a very pleasant place to stroll around!
If you do not have a JR Pass to go to Moji Port by the fastest one day round trip is cheaper than buying ordinary car tickets show mobile pass to the staff is very convenient to note that you must sit in a free seat
After purchasing online, you can redeem your ferry ticket simply by showing your voucher. The staff at the ticket window are very friendly. There are only buses to Kumamoto Port, so remember to pay attention to the time. This time, I was late for the bus, so my ferry ticket was already expired. The staff at the window were very helpful in refunding my ticket. Also, if you miss your return trip, you can still catch a regular bus. Moreover, this ferry is faster and bigger than the other one, and you won't get seasick.
