Katsuoji Temple

Katsumi-ji Temple boasts beautiful gardens, cherry blossom trees, and more! Daruma dolls are a must-buy for everyone! It's very convenient to get there from the city center (e.g., Umeda), just a train ride and a shuttle bus ride away!

The tour guide and driver were friendly and helpful, and each of the three scenic spots had its own unique charm; the tour departed from Osaka by tour bus, saving time and effort.

The tour guide was very humorous and witty. Katsuo-ji Temple is truly beautiful, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Arashiyama, and Togetsukyo Bridge are also very pretty. I would definitely sign up again if I come back. Thumbs up!

Regarding time, the itinerary is quite tight, so the time spent there is limited. Those who prefer a more in-depth travel experience should consider this – however, it's a suitable arrangement! You can easily complete the photo and stamp collection at Katsuo-ji Temple, but it's a bit of a shame we didn't manage our time well enough for souvenir shopping! (The wasabi beans I grabbed were delicious! Perfect with beer!) The last two spots were also quite nice to stroll around at. Our tour leader, Apple, was very friendly! She clearly communicated the meeting times and even recommended some unique shops and restaurants in Arashiyama. She answered all my questions quickly. This was my second trip with KKDay. This time we visited all the attractions we wanted to see. Our guide, Apple, was incredibly kind and helpful, even taking photos for us and telling us where to eat. She also gave us directions to the attractions so we could easily find them. Although we missed the cherry blossoms this time, which was a little disappointing, we still had a great time.
