An intensive one-day tour in July, with the extreme temperatures, was hectic. However, the lady tour guide was so good, considerate and knowledgeable that all the guests still had a lovely time in Kyoto.
Although the time allotted for the trip wasn't enough, the transportation issue was easily resolved, and I would definitely choose KKday again next time. The tour guide/driver also provided brief introductions to the itinerary and its history along the way, making it a great experience.
Although there's space, there are quite a few choices. There might be slightly fewer options for younger boys. Because it was very hot, we all opted for yukatas. Girls could pay extra for flower embroidery, which looked very pretty. The path leads to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, which is a bit of a distance, so I recommend wearing your own shoes to avoid getting tired.
