I was lucky enough to get the Kyushu Rail Pass at a discounted price. It's convenient and lasts for a week. My family of three used it to redeem a 1500 AMU restaurant voucher for food and drinks in the Hakata Station shopping area, a Sarakurayama Ropeway ticket for the million-dollar night view, a Joyint bicycle ride around Moji and Shimonoseki, a Kokura Castle ticket for the castle garden, and a Kumamoto Metro Bus One-Day Pass for Kumamoto Castle, Jojuen Garden, Glover Garden, the Catholic Church, and the Megane Bridge. It's great value for money, and getting it at a discounted price saved us a lot on travel expenses. The Kumamoto Transportation Pass is a new facility introduced after August 6th. When redeeming it on August 13th, the Sakuramachi Bus counter on the 2nd floor didn't see the Rail Pass voucher, and it took a long time to confirm before we successfully exchanged it for a one-day pass, allowing us to make the most of it. I recommend checking the Rail Pass website before your trip to confirm the available facilities and maximize the value of the pass according to your itinerary! Highly recommended!

I initially thought that August 17th, being the day after the end of a long holiday in Japan and a Monday, would be less crowded. However, we still encountered traffic jams on our way to the attractions. The road to Motonosumi Shrine was truly difficult to navigate; I definitely wouldn't have wanted to go if I were driving. Thank you to the driver for taking us there. Our tour guide, Kevin Yang, was very kind and welcoming, taking good care of our group members with elderly members and young children. He explained interesting facts about the attractions to us on the bus. Because of a light drizzle in the afternoon, the air was humid, making the night view photos a bit blurry. The tour guide immediately shared some beautiful photos he had taken earlier, which we greatly appreciated! The two children were very satisfied with the trip. Thank you! 😚

Tour guide Brother Wang's introduction was excellent 👍, highly recommended! The seafood at Tanghu Market is amazing, but eating it under the blazing sun is quite a unique experience.

The weather was fantastic, with bright sunshine, Qiufang Cave truly is a perfect summer retreat... Throughout the trip, our guide Zhang Qing's attentive care, combined with the comfort of the large tour bus, made the whole family very happy!

After purchasing at KKDAY, you can scan the QR code from your email at the self-service machine for entry. Staff will assist you if you encounter any problems. Although some say Kogura City is modernized, the elevators to different floors are convenient for elderly people and children. The interactive area on the first floor is also quite attractive to first-time visitors. Afterwards, you can relax in the café on the fifth floor.

The cruise ship docked in Fukuoka from 12:30 to 22:00, with actual disembarkation around 1:30 PM. It's recommended to return to the pier by 8:00 PM at the latest to allow ample time for boarding and avoid missing the cruise. We opted for a private English-speaking driver, and the overall experience was excellent! The driver was friendly, punctual, and professional, arranging the smoothest route based on the cruise ship's boarding and disembarking times, real-time traffic conditions, and passenger needs. He provided many practical suggestions and had excellent time management, making the shore excursion easy and efficient. The itinerary included: * Visiting Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, taking a walk, and enjoying local cuisine * Shopping at LaLaport in Fukuoka (UNIQLO, GU, Nike, Onitsuka Tiger, drugstores, etc.) * Shopping for drugstores and souvenirs in Tenjin Shopping District * Enjoying dinner with family in Tenjin. The short 6.5-hour shore excursion not only allowed us to visit all the attractions we wanted but also provided ample time for shopping and dining. There was no rush or transportation issues throughout the trip. If your cruise ship is docked in Fukuoka, we highly recommend choosing a private shore excursion. Not only will it save you time transferring to public transportation, but it also allows you to customize your itinerary to your needs. A professional driver will help plan the most suitable attractions and stopover times, maximizing your limited shore excursion time and ensuring you easily visit all of Fukuoka's popular spots, creating wonderful travel memories.
