The Dinosaur Pavilion and Aquarium is worth visiting, especially the Water Lodge, where you can touch different marine life with your hands, which are rarely available.

It wasn't too crowded on a weekday. Upon entering, you're greeted by a lively dinosaur. The main exhibition area has three floors, featuring various dinosaurs and dinosaur fossil models—a great place to learn about dinosaurs and take photos. There's also a dinosaur animation and 3D cinema with three different film sets, including scenes of downtown Fukui and the dinosaur museum at night—very interesting. There's a restaurant inside offering dinosaur-themed food at reasonable prices. The journey from Fukui to the museum by train and then bus takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
