Awaji Island

This was my first time visiting the Dragon Quest theme park on Awaji Island. I took the JR rapid bus from Umeda Station in Osaka. Since there are only three buses a day, I recommend familiarizing yourself with the station location beforehand and buying your round-trip tickets in advance. The drop-off point is the return bus stop, so you won't have trouble finding your seat. Just follow Google Maps uphill to find the Dragon Quest area. You can enjoy the scenery and beautiful camellias along the way. As long as you catch the correct rapid bus, it's very easy! The park's scenery and storylines are very faithful to the original, and it's a bit like a treasure hunt. We had a lot of fun! However, since the park is on a hill, I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. If you get hungry during your activities, you can walk out to the restaurant for a meal. The food is adorable; I especially liked the white sauce spaghetti. The only downside was that the gift shop had too few items XD (I wish they would release more cute merchandise!). If you're interested in the theme park on Awaji Island, I highly recommend setting aside a day for it!

I really liked the atmosphere inside, but the rain caused a significant drop in the overall experience.

Many of the challenges require hand seals like those in anime, and you can simply follow the steps to complete them; even children can do them.
