We set off from the meeting point to Mont Saint Michel at 7:30 in the morning, and will stop at a rest stop in the middle. We will arrive at the parking lot near the foot of Mont Saint Michel around 12 noon. The tour guide will take everyone to the foot of the mountain by shuttle bus, and then take everyone up the mountain. He will give a brief explanation along the way, and then climb up the mountain to visit the monastery. However, the monastery was booked for a concert that day and we couldn't go in to visit (this is a bit incomprehensible. We should have known in advance that the monastery was booked. I really don't believe that the concert was held at the last minute). As a result, we could only walk around the mountain and look around. We returned to the parking lot at around 4 pm. We encountered a big traffic jam on the way, and it was almost 10 pm when we got back to Paris. We went to a Thai restaurant to get dumplings and paid 13 euros per person for the monastery entrance fee before leaving.
