Fortunately, there was a Mandarin-speaking tour group. We slept on the bus, stopped to pee when we got off, and had enough time to visit the forest. Surprisingly, the Magic Forest was quite beautiful, especially after it was covered with a thin layer of frost and snow.

Guide Zhang's explanations of German cultural background and even some European history were very simple and clear. I thought I already knew the history of the famous European churches I had visited before, but after Guide Zhang's retelling, they became vivid and interesting. The time spent on the Königssee tour was a bit rushed due to unpredictable traffic conditions in the morning, including a half-hour traffic jam, which unfortunately reduced the time available for the actual visit. The advantage of joining a tour is convenient transportation and being picked up at the designated location, but the disadvantage is that you can't control the time yourself. Those interested can assess the situation themselves. In the end, I still have to give Guide Zhang a thumbs up.
