Tonga is one of the best places in the world to observe humpback whales. Every year from July to October, thousands of humpback whales migrate to Tonga's warm waters for breeding and calving. The Tongan Islands consist of over 170 islands, with approximately 36 of them being inhabited. These islands are mainly distributed across three main archipelagos: Tongatapu, Ha'apai, and Vava'u. Each archipelago has its unique charm and scenery waiting for travelers to explore.
