Popular Tours & Experiences in 石碇區

Having visited Taipei many times, we have been to most, if not all, of the touristy attraction. This was a new experience for us, and it was truly a hidden gem. The weather was good so the views were really pretty. Be prepared to walk quite a bit, although I think the tour guide would customise accordingly to the fitness level of the group. As we were a group of young people, we were able to go to slightly more difficult walking areas. As for the old street, we came on a weekday so there weren’t many stores open. It would be better to book this on a weekend if you prefer shopping at the old street. Mr Zhang was a friendly and good tour guide as well. (Do note it’s a Chinese-speaking tour).

It was an interesting experience. The guide introducing the somen making process was engaging and funny. There were also loads of photos taken by another guide demonstrating the somen making. Four of us had lots of fun!
