Manukan Island and Sapi Island Snorkeling + Watersport | Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
2021/11/24
Tommy, out tour guide, was very helpful and kind. He's got a story to tell about every destination we touched, either historical, coltural or mythical. During the trip he also saved some times to tell us about KK, its reccomended restaurant, attractions and nightlife. The boat transfer is pleasant especially because it's short. Sapi island is small and private and very nicely maintained, the reef over there was nice but not completely accessible due to the low tide in the morning. The food was not bad and freshly made. Manukan Island it's quite touristic, including a small resort, a restaurant, a bar, an aquarium and other services. Beware of a the local fauna, that includes Iguanas in search of some treats from the tourists and the sandflies, annoying insects who's sting is similar to the mosquitoes but more long lasting; repellent highly recommended.
