ONE DAY IN A NOMAD HOME
Welcome in the Mongolian way. Visiting a nomadic family. Traditional drinks, tastings, and boortsog. Getting to know the livestock of the five tribes. An introduction to herding and nomadic culture. Basic knowledge of proper horse handling. Experience riding horses, yaks, and camels. Getting to know ox carts, horse carts, and camel carts. Explanation of traditional nomad methods and household chores. Archery. A performance of shagai. Visiting a white-bread house. Mongolian folk songs and a performance of the morin khuur.
