Product Info

Spot Introduction:

  • Naruko Gorge: One of the most beautiful autumn foliage spots in Miyagi Prefecture. The combination of streams, canyons, and vibrant colors is breathtaking. With unique and mysterious rock formations, lush green forests in summer, and a canvas-like display of autumn leaves, it is an unforgettable place that will leave you mesmerized.
  • Ginzan Onsen: A hot spring town located in the mountainous region of Yamagata Prefecture in the Tohoku region. Surrounded by mountains, this small town flourished in the 17th century as a silver mining site, which is how it got its name, Ginzan Onsen. The town retains wooden Western-style buildings from the Taisho to early Showa periods. Its retro streetscape and snowy winter scenery are full of romance. Ginzan Onsen was also the setting for the world-famous Japanese TV drama 'Oshin'. It is also rumored to be an inspiration for the bathhouse in the Japanese animation 'Spirited Away'. The romantic, retro atmosphere of the hot spring inns, combined with beautiful snow, attracts travelers from all over the world every year.
  • Mogami River Cruise: Known as the 'Mother of Yamagata Prefecture', the Mogami River is one of Japan's three fastest-flowing rivers. Stretching over 200 kilometers, it runs through the north and south of Yamagata Prefecture, flanked by small mountains. The scenery changes with the seasons. Listen to the boatman sing the 'Mogami River Boat Song' while admiring the charming seasonal views, including beautiful cedar forests and the Shiraito Falls. The cruise takes about 1 hour. In addition to traditional songs, the boatmen offer performances in English, Chinese, and Korean. The witty boatman is the soul of the journey, keeping guests entertained throughout the trip.
