-What you can expect-
Your day of exploration begins with a comfortable coach transfer from Civitavecchia Port to Rome. Upon arrival, you'll start your journey at the City Sightseeing Visitor Center. Here, take a moment to gather your bearings before embarking on an immersive walking tour through Rome’s iconic sights.

With your tour leader, you'll first visit St. Peter’s Basilica. As you continue along Via della Conciliazione, you'll reach Castel Sant’Angelo, an ancient fortress originally built by Emperor Hadrian. Following this, you'll embark on a scenic walk along the Tiber River, offering awe-inspiring views including the famous St. Peter’s Dome in the backdrop. The tour then takes you to the Palace of Justice, an impressive neoclassical building that dominates the cityscape.

The second part of your journey commences as you board the coach once more. You'll pass by the historic Circus Maximus before arriving at the world-renowned Colosseo. Your tour leader will bring the history of this incredible monument to life, deepening your understanding of its significance. The day concludes with a leisurely return to Civitavecchia Port, ensuring you're relaxed and enriched from a full day of exploration, with ample time to board your cruise ship.
