    • We'll be holding a wild vegetable tour at the foot of Mount Fuji in Yamanashi Prefecture from March through the Golden Week holidays in May. In two sessions, morning and afternoon, you'll forage for wild vegetables with a wild vegetable guide, then savor the tempura. Learn where to find them, how to cook them, and take them home. This tour is suitable for families, young children, and elementary school students. For those traveling by train or bus, we can provide transportation to Kawaguchiko Station. Take the bus from Shinjuku Bus Terminal to Kawaguchiko Station. Wild vegetables to be harvested include: taros, burdock, fern, bracken, Japanese pepper leaves, and more. What to bring: hiking shoes and UpDawn. You'll be walking through a rocky field for over an hour. There will be elevation changes. Please bring a bag, hat, and drink to take home: a set of tempura-making tools and at least the wild vegetables you'd like to take home. We look forward to your participation. Due to transportation costs, a minimum number of participants is five.
