Shishito is a gallery and pottery studio with a free-spirited style.

- Our studio is located right by the sea. Please enjoy a relaxing pottery session while feeling the ocean breeze. After your experience, we recommend taking a leisurely look at the sea or going for a walk. The nearby coast has recently become a hot topic on social media for its beautiful sunsets!
- Beginners are welcome
- Our experienced pottery masters will provide clear and careful instruction, so even those who are new to pottery can enjoy the experience with peace of mind. However, electric wheels can be a bit challenging, so if you prefer something easier, we recommend the hand-turned wheel.

- There is also a gallery inside the shop, which you can use for inspiration for your own creations.

Regarding cancellation of the event:
- As the event is held indoors, it will generally be held in any weather, but it may be cancelled in the event of a typhoon or other disaster, or if its effects make it difficult to hold the event.
Please note the following when participating in this course:
- With 500g of clay, you can make cups, plates, etc. If there is something you would like to make, please let us know when you register.
Other important points to note:
- *Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. ■Experience schedule Please arrive at the store at the time of your reservation and complete the reception. ↓ We will explain the production procedure. ↓ Please enjoy your production experience.
Includes/Excludes
- Experience fee, material fee, firing fee
- If you would like your piece sent to you, an additional shipping fee will be charged. It takes approximately 2-3 months for the firing to be completed. You can come to the studio to pick it up at a time that is convenient for you, or we will mail it to you once it is completed (additional shipping fee). *If we do not receive any contact from you within one year of notifying you after firing, your piece will be disposed of.
Reminders
Participant age: 10 to 100 years old
What to wear and bring: You will be handling mud, so please wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty. If you are using the electric potter's wheel, you will be stepping over the machine, so please refrain from wearing skirts or high-heeled shoes. Also, long nails will get caught in the soil, so please keep your nails as short as possible. We recommend that they are not visible when viewed from the palm of your hand.
