Product Info

  • This plan allows you to cycle around Awaji Island on the popular fat bike "MATE.BIKE." Awaji Island is home to stunning ocean and mountain views, stylish cafes, and plenty of other attractions. Why not try cycling on the cool and cute MATE? Take photos with the MATE at various locations! It's guaranteed to look even better! The MATE is an electric-assist bicycle, making it easy to ride, and most importantly, fun! The battery lasts for approximately 80km, so you can almost cycle around halfway around Awaji Island. Our recommended route is to go from our shop to the west coast, then head north along the coastline, and return to the east coast. Of course, you can also plan your own cycling route from the comfort of your own sofa before you set off!
  • Groups up to 6 people
  • We have six MATE bikes available, three of which are MATE Xs and three are MATE Fusions. The MATE X is a larger model with wider tires. It is recommended for riders over 160cm tall. The MATE Fusion has slightly thinner tires and a smaller body than the X. For riders under 160cm tall, we recommend the Fusion! Of course, the saddle and handlebars are adjustable, so even riders over 160cm tall can ride comfortably.

Please note the following when participating in this course:

  • Children under the age of 18 can ride, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children under 140cm tall cannot ride.

Other important points to note:

  • If a rental is already available on the date you wish to reserve, we may not be able to secure the date, time, and number of units.

Reminders

  • Participant age: 18 to 75 years old

  • What to wear and bring: Please be sure to bring your ID. If you have a favorite hat or sunglasses, that's fine. If you need sun protection, please bring it with you.

  • Rental items: Backpacks, sunglasses, and ankle bands are available for free rental. New thin gloves are available for use.

  • Duration Notes: Any trip over 4 hours will be charged the same as a 9-hour trip on the same day. Enjoy your MATE cycling trip at your own pace!

  • Minimum number of participants: 1 person

  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
