How to Get There
Due to renovation work on the Omihachiman City Cultural Center where our store is located, we will be open for lunch at Cafe Vite in Himawari-kan (Omihachiman City General Welfare Center) until August 2025. There are city bus and Akakon bus stops, but it is about a 15-20 minute walk from JR Omihachiman Station. Please search for "Omihachiman Himawari-kan". There are many parking spaces around the Himawari-kan parking facility. There is no need to worry about space unless there is a big event. There is also a parking lot for our store on the south side of Himawari-kan where Cafe Vite is located, with space for 4 cars. The Cultural Center is less than a 10 minute walk from JR Omihachiman Station. Get off at the north exit and go straight along the sidewalk on the Family Mart side (where KOBAN is located) (the small old church at the first traffic light is Kaneda Church, built by Vories, where the "god of folk music" Okabayashi Nobuyasu lived^^), and at the end of the road is Omihachiman City Cultural Hall, which is inside. If you are coming by car, search for "Omihachiman Cultural Hall". There are parking lots in front and behind the Cultural Hall, but you can also park in the parking lot at the site of the former municipal hospital across the street in front, or in the parking lot of the city hall next door to the west on weekends. It is free. Currently, the Cultural Hall parking lot is unavailable due to major renovation work. Again, due to the Cultural Hall renovation work, lunch will be served at "Himawarikan's Caffe Vite" at 1313 Tsuchida-cho, Omihachiman City from October 2024 to August 2025.
